Preferences let you choose how Asnan+ works for you. Your interface language and anonymous usage-sharing choice belong to your personal account. They do not change shared clinic settings, such as the timezone, currencies, or dental numbering system, which apply to everyone at the selected clinic.

Change the interface language

Choose the language and reading direction that are most comfortable for you. Asnan+ supports English, Arabic, and Central Kurdish. English uses a left-to-right layout, while Arabic and Central Kurdish switch to a right-to-left layout automatically. This changes the clinic app for your account; it does not change the interface for other team members.

  1. Open Account menu → Account settings → Preferences.
  2. In Interface language, choose the language you want to use.
  3. Wait for the change to finish. The interface updates after the preference is saved; there is no separate Save button for this selection.
Language and anonymous usage sharing are personal account preferences.

The help center currently uses English. Changing the clinic app’s language does not translate these written guides. Languages spoken on your Profile is a separate field and does not change the interface.

Change anonymous usage sharing

Anonymous usage sharing lets Asnan+ receive de-identified information about how features are used, which helps improve the app. It never includes personal or patient-identifiable data. This choice does not change what you or your team can access in the clinic.

  1. Open Account settings → Preferences.
  2. Under Privacy, review Allow anonymous usage for research and analytics.
  3. Turn the setting on or off, then wait for the Data settings updated notification before leaving the page.

If a setting does not update

Wait for a pending update to finish before trying again. A failed language or privacy save shows an error; return to the page and verify the saved value rather than assuming the toggle or selection was accepted.

A load failure can temporarily disable the language control. Check your connection, reload the page, and retry. For shared clinic defaults, use Clinic settings → Preferences.
