Overview

Use Analytics → Overview for a quick view of clinic activity, billed revenue, and money received during a selected period. Open Patients, Appointments, or Financial when you need more detail.

Before you start

Each Analytics tab has its own access permission, so you may not see every tab. Ask your clinic admin if Overview is not available. The report starts with the current month in the clinic’s timezone. Admins and some assistants can filter by doctor; other users see only activity they can access.

The date and doctor filters stay selected as you move between tabs. The selected period also appears in the page URL, so check it before comparing reports or sharing the link.

Open Overview

  1. Select Analytics in the clinic navigation.
  2. Select the Overview tab if it is available to you.
  3. Open the date picker and choose a shortcut such as Last week, or select the start and end dates in the calendar.
  4. If the doctor filter is shown, choose a doctor or All doctors.
  5. Wait for the figures and charts to finish updating.
Overview brings activity and collections together for the selected period.

Read the summary

Period snapshot groups the Billing summary and Visit activity. Billing summary counts invoices, receipts, and patients who paid; Visit activity shows total visits and new patients. The four cards below compare Total revenue, Collections, Appointments, and New patients with the previous period. Revenue is the amount billed; Collections is money received during the selected period. An invoice may be issued in one period and paid in another, so these amounts can differ.

Collections by wallet shows where received money was recorded, with each currency shown separately. Revenue and visit trend compares revenue, collections, and visit volume over time.

Use the selected dates and access scope when reading each panel. IQD and USD are not combined or converted.

If a result looks unexpected

Check the selected dates and doctor filter first. Another team member may see different totals because their access is different. Overview keeps currency amounts separate; it does not combine IQD and USD.

An empty panel means there were no matching records for that view. A loading or error message is not a confirmed zero. Wait for the report to finish, or retry if an error appears.
