Security

Open Account menu → Account settings → Security. These settings protect your personal account across all of your clinics. Keep your password, email address, phone number, and two-factor authentication up to date so that only you can sign in and complete sensitive account changes.

Contact verification and security controls are grouped in the Security tab.

Change your password

Change your password if you think someone else may know it, after using it on a shared device, or when you receive an unexpected security message. Use a new password that you do not use for another account.

  1. Enter your Current password.
  2. Enter a New password with at least 10 characters and a number or special character.
  3. Repeat it in Confirm new password. It must differ from your current password.
  4. Choose Update password and wait for Password updated.

If you cannot provide the current password, use Forgot password from the sign-in page. An account normally accessed through Google can also use the available recovery flow when a password is needed.

Change or verify your email

Change your email when you no longer control the current address or want account and security messages sent to a new email address. Choose an address that only you can open, because you use it to confirm the change.

  1. In Email, enter the address you want to use.
  2. Choose Verify.
  3. When you are changing the existing address, enter your current password in Confirm your password, then choose Continue.
  4. Open the verification message sent to the new email address and follow its link.
  5. Return to Security and check the verified contact information.

A Pending email change means the change is awaiting verification. The pending address is not confirmation that the account’s email has already changed. Use Cancel pending change if the address is wrong or you did not request it.

Change or verify your phone

Keep your phone number current because Asnan+ uses it to verify contact changes and for two-factor authentication. Change it before you lose access to the current number.

  1. Check the country code and enter the phone number you can receive verification messages on.
  2. Choose Verify.
  3. Confirm your current password when prompted for a change to the existing number.
  4. Enter all six digits from the verification message you receive through Telegram, WhatsApp, or SMS, then choose Confirm.
  5. Check that the phone is verified before leaving.

A pending phone change offers Enter code so you can resume verification, and Cancel pending change to abandon it. If the verification reference is missing or the code no longer works, restart verification to request a new code.

Enable two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication adds a second check when you sign in. After your password, Asnan+ asks for a code sent to your verified phone number, which helps protect your account if someone learns your password.

  1. Verify your phone number first.
  2. In Two-factor authentication, turn on Enable two-factor authentication.
  3. Wait for 2FA enabled.
  4. On a later sign-in that requests the second factor, enter the six-digit code you receive through Telegram, WhatsApp, or SMS and choose Confirm.

The current second factor uses your verified phone. This screen does not offer an authenticator-app QR code or downloadable backup codes. Turning the same setting off disables two-factor authentication after the change succeeds.

If you cannot receive the code, follow sign-in recovery. Do not create a second account to work around a problem with the first account’s clinic access.

Respond to an unexpected change

If you receive a verification message or see a pending email or phone change that you did not request, do not follow its link or share its code. While you still have access, cancel the pending change, change your password, and use Sign out from the account menu on any shared computer.

Asnan+ does not currently show a list of signed-in devices, and changing your password may not sign out every device. If another person may be able to open your account, also secure the email address and phone number connected to it. Contact Asnan+ support  if you cannot sign in or cannot cancel an unrecognized change.
