Payouts

Use Compensation to enter the pay rules your clinic has agreed with its team. Use Payouts to review estimates for a date range. The report uses recorded clinic activity, but it does not pay team members or move money between wallets.

Before you start

Clinic admins and doctors can view Payouts by default. Admins see the clinic-wide figures; doctors see only their own figures. Admins can review and change Compensation rules. Your clinic may have different permissions, so ask an admin if a page or action is missing.

The report uses issued receipts, labwork costs, paid clinic expenses, and the compensation rules for the selected dates. Check the source records first if a figure looks unexpected: Receipts, Labworks, and Expenses.

Set compensation rules

Use one row for each team member. Enter the amounts and rates from the agreement your clinic has with them; the examples below show how each field affects the report, not recommended pay rates. If a member has no fixed basic salary, leave Basic salary at 0.

  1. Open Accounting → Compensation.
  2. Find the team member and choose the currency for their basic salary.
  3. Enter the agreed monthly basic salary, or leave it at 0 if there is no fixed salary.
  4. Enter the agreed Commission % and Labwork deduction %.
  5. Enter the member’s Clinic revenue share % and Clinic cost share % if your clinic uses the Shares view.
  6. Check the totals, select Save, and wait for the success message.

The fields are used as follows:

  • Basic salary and currency: the member’s fixed pay for a full month, in the selected currency. For example, enter 500,000 IQD for an agreed monthly salary of 500,000 IQD. The payout report prorates it for the selected dates.
  • Commission %: the percentage of the member’s collected revenue added as commission. For example, 10% of 100,000 IQD collected revenue gives 10,000 IQD commission.
  • Labwork deduction %: the percentage of the member’s labwork cost deducted from their payout. For example, a 20% deduction on 100,000 IQD of labwork costs is 20,000 IQD.
  • Clinic revenue share %: the member’s portion of the clinic revenue pool in the Shares view. For example, 40% of a 1,000,000 IQD revenue pool gives a 400,000 IQD revenue share.
  • Clinic cost share %: the member’s portion of the clinic cost pool in the Shares view. For example, 25% of a 400,000 IQD cost pool gives a 100,000 IQD cost share.

Each percentage must be between 0 and 100. Salary cannot be negative. The Clinic revenue share percentages must add up to 100%, and the Clinic cost share percentages must also add up to 100%. These are separate allocations across the listed members.

Enter the pay rules agreed with your team and check each member’s currency.

Scroll the table horizontally when needed to review both clinic-share columns and their totals.

Check each clinic-share allocation separately; both totals must equal 100%.

If Save is unavailable, check that the rules have loaded, that a value changed, and that both share totals equal 100%. The page shows how much an allocation is under or over its required total.

Review member payouts

Use this view to review the estimated payout for each member over a selected period. Compare the recorded revenue, salary, commission, and labwork deduction, then check the currency total. Changing the dates recalculates the activity included in the report.

  1. Open Accounting → Payouts.
  2. Choose the date range. The page starts with the current month in the clinic’s time zone.
  3. Keep Payouts selected to review each member’s figures.
  4. Review collected revenue, commission, prorated basic salary, labwork cost, cost deduction, and payout total.
  5. Check the total for each currency separately. IQD and USD are not combined or converted.

Collected revenue comes from issued receipts in the selected date range, not from unpaid invoice totals. Payout total is the prorated basic salary plus commission, minus the cost deduction. Labwork cost is shown separately; the deduction is the percentage-based amount from that cost.

Review the calculated payout figures for the selected period.

Review clinic shares

Select Shares beside the date range. This view applies the clinic revenue-share and cost-share rules to the period’s revenue and costs. Review each member’s two percentages, revenue share, cost share, and Net settlement. Net settlement is the difference between that member’s revenue share and cost share; it is a calculation, not a payment.

Compare each member’s allocated revenue and costs for the selected dates.

If you have report permission, select Print to open a report for the current Payouts or Shares view. It uses the selected date range and keeps currencies separate. Reports are limited to 500 matching rows; narrow the date range if the limit is exceeded.

If a member or amount is missing, check the dates, compensation rules, issued receipts, labwork records, and recorded expenses. If the page shows a loading error, retry after the connection is restored; an error does not mean the amount is zero.

Payouts and Shares help you review amounts. They do not create a payroll record, mark a team member as paid, issue a receipt, or change a wallet balance.
